The Magic of Christmas Hexagon Explosion Box
Hi, everyone.
Today I'm sharing the explosion box I made using the Cards, Tags, and More kit.
I started by cutting all of the paper to fit on the outside of the box. I kept it pretty simple because the paper is pretty busy.
For the top of the box, I added some gold trim from my stash around the edges, then added the gingham paper.
Next, I added one of the cutouts with the Santa. I outlined the visible part of the rectangle with some red bling strips from my stash. The flowers are from the kit, and the berries are from the scrapbook kit. I added some pine pieces from my stash, as well as pieces of a gold applique from my stash to highlight the gold in the papers.
The inside is pretty simple- all of the layers are covered with papers from the kit- perfect mats for Christmas pictures. On the top layer of each side, I added the printed chipboard pieces from the kit, and some red bling from my stash. I also added one of the chipboard pieces to the middle of the hexagon.
I created a 3-D design for the middle of the box. Green rhinestone strings from my stash outline the hexagon. I added some of the flowers from the scrapbook kit and some more of the gold applique that I used on the top of the box. I also added some green bottle brush trees from my stash.
