Simple Easter Bunting
Happy Crafty Sunday!
Today I'm sharing a project I made using the April scrapbook kit and these beautiful Tres Jolie chipboard pieces:
I came up with a simple bunting to display the chipboard eggs:
I started out by using my Silhouette Cameo to cut out triangle with a layered effect. I distressed all of the triangles, and added some of the Dried Marigold Distress Ink from the kit.
The middle banner in the bunting with the "Happy Easter" chipboard egg. I love the white chipboard look, so I decided to leave them as they were. I added a rub on from the card kit before glueing the egg down, and also added a butterfly one. I used a lace die to cut the piece that you can see at the top between the 49 and Market flowers. I did use some pink flowers from my stash, but all of the other ones are from the kit. I completed the look by added some Nuvo translucent drops, and repeated the steps more or less for the remaining banners.
I used both a peach and a light green color for the Nuvo drops.
I added the more solid pieces of chipboard to papers that had more of a distinct pattern.
And, for the more intricate chipboard eggs, I used the more plain paper as a background.
Thanks for stopping my the blog!
