Remember Today Layout

Today I'm sharing my first layout made with the beautiful May scrapbook kit featuring Stamperia papers.

My inspiration for this layout was the tiny Dress My Craft frames with Mickey Mouse hands, so I decided to use a picture from the last time I went to Disneyland.

These Stamperia papers are so gorgeous, filled with so many details, there's really not a need to add too many other features, so I kept this design pretty simple.

I started out by adding some stencilling with red chalk ink and more stenciling over it with some white crackle paste.

Next, I made the cluster for the title.  I used one of the Tres Jolie oval frames, embossing it with red and gold embossing powders, then layered some of the printed chipboard. Lastly, I added some paper to the back of the Mickey Mouse hands frame and add a date.

For the flower clusters I used the 49 and Market marble flowers from the kit and some cerise (49 and Market) and grey flowers (Petaloo) from my stash.  For this bottom cluster, I added one of the Tres Jolie chipboard keys, and the one on the top, I added one of the metal clocks.

I also added several pieces of the printed chipboard under and around the picture.
