Never Stop Exploring Layout
Today I'm sharing my last project that I made with the November mixed media kit: a simple layout:
I started out by adding some stenciling with white crackle paste in the upper left and lower right corner. Once dry, I added some distress oxide inks to blend into the paper.
Next, I distressed the edges of the background paper and the golden paper as well. I glued the main paper to the green paper in the kit.
Next, I treated the Tres Jolie chipboard border with some aged bronze distressing powder, then glued it down before adding my layers. I used an older journaling frame from my stash, but the rest of the layers are from the kit, including the red paper, tickets, other ephemera and the green lace laser cut outs.
I also added some of the printed acetate leaves and then several flowers- the orange ones are from the kit. The ivory ones are from my stash (49 and Market).
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
