"Magical Moment" a layout
Happy Tuesday, hope your week is going well so far. Can you believe the year is almost over. I can't, there were so many things I wanted to get done this year. I just add them to my 2023 list. Anyway...on to why you are here.
I have a layout to share with you today. I created this layout using the new December scrapbook kit. We just revealed all our December kits. You can seem them here. But for today, like I said, we are talking about the scrapbook kit.
Here is my layout I created:
This was such a fun layout to create. I used an old photo of me and Santa. Everything is from the kit, except the doilies and chipboard piece I used. The chipboard piece is called lace border and can be found here. I cut it into 3 pieces and used gold embossing powder.
Let's get into some close ups:
I lightly distressed the edges of all my papers and used barn door distress ink on them. I used 2 different size doilies and layered them in between the patterned paper to help break up some of the busyness.
Let's talk about the background. For the layers behind the photo, I took 2 sheets of paper and cut it into layers to use behind my photo. I used both sides of the paper. The title banner is from the ephemera pack included in the kit.
I used the flowers from the kit. I added foam tape to make them stand off the page a bit.
Here you can see the chipboard piece with the gold embossing. I used gold to break up all the red on the page. I think it turned out nice.
