Keep Room in Your Heart for the Unimaginable
Today I'm sharing my first layout I made with the beautiful January kit.
For this layout I also used the colors from the mood board.
Also focused on adding some flower clusters from the bottom right picture.
The base page is turned upside down then distressed so there would be parts that would show the bottom page. I used some green chalk ink heavily after distressing the paper. Then I added some stenciling using some white crackle paste.
I added some layers for cluster under the picture. The ephemera and title are from my stash. I also used a couple of dies to cut out a couple of clocks and vines from one of the lighter papers from the kit and then added some green and blue chalk ink to the die cuts.
I used more of that same chalk ink on the wood part of the charm, and some white and gold embossing powder on the Tres Jolie chipboard border.
After adding all of the layers and embellishments including flowers and the resin bird, I used some India ink (black and white) to create splatters.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
