It's All Good Layout

Today I'm sharing my first project that I made with the April scrapbook kit, featuring the beautiful new 49 and Market ArtOptions Avesta collection.  I also used the April Mood Board for Inspiration.

I loved the florals and the colors of the mood board, so I incorporated those into my layout.

I stared out by creating my large layers, including one of the lace laser cut outs and tucked it int to the layers of the left side.  I inked all layers, including the picture  with the Dried Marigold Distress Ink that came in the kit.  

A majority of the layers under the photo were from the cut out page in the kit.  I added a title from the laser cuts and added some tags that come in the card kit.

I also used the ink in the kit to add some stenciling- it just adds a distorted look to the paper and brings out the edges of all the layers.  In this close up you can see I added a large chipboard circle that I added some rhinestone chain to, both items from my stash.

I cut out several of the flowers and leaves and tucked those under the 49 and Market flowers.
