Enjoy the Beauty in Becoming Wood Decor

Hi, everyone.

Today I'm sharing the last project I made using the February scrapbook kit.

I used a piece of wood decor from Michaels to trace a piece of one of the kit papers (pink newsprint), and glued it to the wood heart after inking it green.  Then, I added some stenciling with some translucent paste that I inked with green ink once dry.

I used several pieces of ephemera including flowers, leaves, a fan, and one of the dancers.

I cut the vine from the kit into to two pieces and added a couple of darker pink flowers from my stash on top of the ephemera leaves and flowers.

I also added a title and some pink dragonflies from my stash.

To complete the project, I added some pink liquid pearls around the edge of the heart.
