Dream Big Layout
Today I'm sharing another simple layout I made using the January scrapbook kit.
I started out by creating a messy border using some stitching stamps and blue chalk ink.
Next, I cut some strips of the paper with the wood design into strips. I distressed them, inked them with blue chalk ink, then added some foam tape to the strips. I cut out two doilies from a die and stuck those to the adjacent corners, then glued that to the top portion of the page for a photo mat.
I added some of the Prima and 49 and Market flowers from the kit, as well as one of the charms. I added a blue pearl from my stash to the wood part of the charm.
I added some green distress oxide and chalk inks to the Tres Jolie chipboard swirl in order to get that mottled look.
I added the chipboard, as well as one of the Prima resin birds to the bottom right of the picture, then added my flower cluster and some of the leaves that came with the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
