Dance Like No One is Watching Wall Hanging
Hi, everyone.
Today I'm sharing another project I made using the February scrapbook kit featuring the 13Arts Carmen paper collection.
I started with a three-piece wood panel (12X10 inches) that I painted black. I cut the piece of paper in three pieces to fit on each of the panels, then distressed each piece and added some grey ink around the edges before gluing them down to the wood panels.
I embossed the Tres Jolie rose chipboard with gold, black and ink embossing powders which you can see peek out from both of the flower clusters.
I used the package of Prima flowers from the kit which I added two different shades of pink chalk inks to so that they blended into the projects. I also grabbed a few brighter pink flowers from my stash to form the clusters. I also added some pearls and some die cuts using the green papers from the kit. That dancer is a piece of the ephemera collection that is in the kit that I cut the white edges off of.
I cut the title using my Silhouette Cameo from basic black cardstock, and separated it to work into the design.
