"Vintage Diary" Mood Board Challenge
Hi everyone!! I'm back this week with a project using Tres Jolie January Scrapbook Kit. I also am using this project as my submission for the Mood Board Challenge for this month. Also, this is my last project as a design team member for Tres Jolie Kits. So I hope this project goes out with a bang!
This altered journal is from Canvas Corp which was so fun to add this beautiful paper .
I began by painting the edges along the original cover of this journal using white !3@arts gesso. I then measured my papers from the scrapbook kit which are from Craft O' Clock. This journal came with some vintage papers of different designs. I did want to add some dash boards and pockets in between the different papers. So I created those folders by adding some of the scraps left from the papers I measured out and cut.
I did ink the edges using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a dauber. I used Helmar Acid Free Glue to adhere the papers to the covers and on the pockets I created on some of the dash boards. I also used a flower punch from The Paper Studio on some of those pockets.
I used a lot of the Craft O Clock Junk Journal Extra Set as well as the matching chipboard set which I absolutely love. I really enjoy fussy cutting from the junk journal set.

I do want to thank Kim Heard for having me be a part of her design team for a little over a year. I have enjoyed creating using these amazing kits that Kim puts together and I am gonna miss that so very much. Also thank you to the designers that I was on this team with. You are all very talented and showed so much inspiration. I hope we all keep in touch! Also I know the two newest members will do amazing!! Last but not least, Thank You to all of you Tres Jolie Fans who have made me feel very welcome!
