Tres Jolie Mixed Media Kit Christmas Stocking

Welcome back. With all of the great Holiday inspired pieces that came with this month's Mixed Media Kit, I decided to try something inspired by a winter marble look with the Christmas Stocking and the paints. 

First I did a base color to the stocking by spraying it with Distress Inks Sprays. I used a heat gun to get it to dry quickly 

Next I added a plaid pattern to the stocking using the paints from the December kit. 

Once it was down I used a stick to make the pattern more like a marble pattern and colored up one of the tops to match.  

I then added a sentiment from my stash and then I colored a few of the accessory pieces and added some pearls. 

And then my project is done.
