Tres Jolie Mixed Media Kit ATCs

Hey everyone. Liv here to bring you another project using this month's September Mixed Media Set. For this video/project, I decided again to create a set of ATC cards. For those who don't know what an ATC stand for it is an artist trading card and they are 2 1/2x 3 1/2 in size. 

First I used the underneath paper I had in my project from this month and sprinkled the mica powder directly onto the paper. I then added water so that it move around it. 

Once I dried it with my heat gun I rubbed a bit of the gilding flakes from the kit onto the paper and then started to collage on it using some stamps from my stash.

I really wanted more pink in the project so I stamped the cards with some embossing ink and then directly applied the powder. 

Once that was done, I used some gesso and one of the stencils to add more textures. 

 I dried it with my heat gun, inked the edges and stamp out some other images on the left over papers and cut them out to add another pop up layer to the cards.

Finally, I thought the stencil I used with the gesso reminded me of flowers so I used Nuvo drops in the center. Now my ATCs are done. If you are wondering, yes I do trade them with other crafters when I can.
