Tres Jolie August Mixed Media Kit-Art Journal Page

Hey everyone. It is Liv here. This month I decided to use the August Mixed Media kit to create an art journal page. If you prefer the watch the video see the link below, but fair warning, a bit of a blooper on it but think you get the idea on the project.

First up, I used my Lindy gang Magical powders to create the colors of the background and then dried it with a heat gun.

Once that was done, I added a splash of a color and then "stamped" with my stencil to give the project even more depth. 

Can you see the circle impressions on the page with the stencil stamping effect?

Next came my blooper where I forgot to turn back on my camera to show how I colored a chipboard piece with the TCW- Stardust Butter - Marcasite included in the kit and stamped on the page. While I did not get it on file...here is a close up of what it looked like.

What great coverage!! I really am impressed with the TWC Butters. Then I used the Prima Criss Cross Stencil in the kit with the TWC Starburst Butter-Champange that is also included in the kit. 

Then I finished it off with some splatters and a sentiment for my finished art journal page.
