Tiny Floral Album

Hello Crafters!

I hope Spring weather has arrived where you live. When I think of Spring, flower gardens come to mind.

Today I'll be creating a Floral Tiny Album featured in our April Cards Tags and More kit. This month you'll receive a Memory Hardware Tiny Album, Couture Creations-Vintage Tea paper pad with double sided designs and matching Ephemera pack to embellish your tiny album. Of course no kit would be complete without Prima flowers,  Say it in Crystals pack and these adorable set of Prima Vintage Pastel Trinkets! But that's not all, Tres Jolie Teacup chipboard is the cutest and you'll also receive some Ankyo Clear pockets to add shakers inside or make cards and tags! This is a kit you won't want to miss out on.

I'll be using some items from my stash: Folkart Vintage White acrylic paint, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, ribbon, pearl gems, photos, and some sentiment chipboard stickers, Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen- clear, foam dots, tiny metal screw, Stickles Glitter Diamond and small tea stained doily.

To begin, I took some Folkart Vintage White acrylic paint and applied about 1/2  inch border on both the front and back covers, side binding and all inside pages. Set aside to dry.

Using a variety of patterned papers from the paper pad, I cut them to 4x4 inches, inked along the edges and adhered to both covers, binding and inside album pages. Note: I cut the paper for the outside binding to measure 1 & 3/4 x 4 & 1/4 inches.

Here's the papers I chose:

On the front cover, I did added foam dots to the back of my paper before adhering. I also cut a small tea stained doily from my stash, in two pieces and glued behind my front cover paper. Here's a closeup:

On the outside binding I attached a tiny metal screw/ring on the upper part of my album.

Then I tied some sheer pink ribbon into a bow along with one of the Prima Trinkets charms. Here's a photo:

Front Cover: I fussycut out one of the floral images and using a small square die from my stash, I diecut one of the sentiments from the paper pad.

Then I adhered the floral fussycut piece at the right edge with foam dots, and the sentiment piece on the bottom left corner. I tucked acouple ephemera pieces behind my floral piece, added a few pearl gems and Stickles Diamond glitter on some of my floral images. Here's a closeup photo:

Page 1: back of front cover: I added a photo,  a chipboard sentiment and crystal gem from my stash.

Page 2: Taking a scrap paper I cut to measure 2 & 1/2 x 3 inches, scored 1/2 inch at the top. I adhered to the top left of my page to create a flip up piece. You could add a photo underneath. I glued another sentiment square from the paper pad, on the front of my flip. Here's some photos:

Page 3: I adhered a Prima Say it in Crystals circle gem embellishment on the upper left corner. Taking my Prima Dtarburst flower stem in your kit, I snipped off one of the stars and glued to the center of my crystal gem circles. With foam dots I added a Tim Holtz tiny paper doll! Here's a photo:

Page 4: I took another scrap paper and cut to measure 2 & 1/2 x 4 inches and adhered to make a pocket. I tucked one of the sentiment cards into my pocket and added a flower ephemera piece on top of my pocket using foam dots. Here's a photo of both pages:

Page 5: I took the floral wreath from the ephemera pack, added foam dots and a photo behind my wreath. I added another sentiment at the bottom.

Page 6: I created another pocket page measuring 4 x 2 & 1/2 inches. I tucked another sentiment card inside my pocket, with foam dots I adhered a lily ephemera piece on my pocket. Here's how my pages look:

Page 7: I added a photo at the top of my page.

Page 8: I fussycut a floral piece from one of the scrap papers and using foam dots, I adhered on the right side of my page. I tucked a sentiment card behind my floral edge and a acouple of gems! Here's some photos:

Page 9: I made another side pocket page and tucked some ephemera pieces and a sentiment inside my pocket.

Page 10: I added a tiny paper doll couple with foam dots on the center of my page and a banner chipboard sentiment sticker at the top.

Page 11: I made another side pocket and tucked a ephemera piece into my pocket.

Page 12: I adhered a photo on my page along with a sentiment chipboard sticker above my photo.

Page 13: I added a photo and on the last page I glued a chipboard sentiment sticker onto my opposite page. Here's a few photos:
