"Timeless Moments " Canvas Layout

Hello Craft Friends!

Dana here. Today I'll be creating a Canvas Layout you can display anywhere in your home. I love to create layouts that I can display and enjoy and not just tucked away in an album.

For Today's project I'll be using the May Scrapbook kit that I'm sure any scrapbooker will love. You'll receive Uniquely Creative 12x12 Peonies and Proteas 16 double sided patterned papers, 2 of each design, along with matching Uniquely Creative diecuts, plenty of element images to fussycut and use to embellish your layouts or other projects!  Youll also get some pretty Tres Jolie chipboard Roses https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/nature

Of course no kit would be complete without some Pretty Prima flower packs, you'll receive two different packages of flowers, and to top that off you'll get some lovely Uniquely Creative Embellishment epoxy buttons to add the perfect touch! Here's a photo of the Scrapbook kit:

From my stash, I purchased a blank 12x12 canvas board from my local craft store, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, foam tape and dots, Tres Jolie Chipboard frame https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/frames, Smooch inks Green apple, Embossing powder Copper, heat gun, Versamark Clear ink.

To begin our project, I chose one of the patterned papers to use for my background of my layout. I tore along some of the edges and distressed the edges to make them look more tattered and worn. I adhered my paper to my canvas board. See photo:

Set your canvas aside for now. I took one of the many gorgeous chipboard frames from the Tres Jolie shop: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/frames

I applied some Versamark Clear ink to the surface of my chipboard frame. Then I sprinkled some Embossing powder Copper over the top and shake off any excess embossing powder. Then using my Heat gun, I heat embossed it.

Now you can glue your photo behind your chipboard frame, and glue in the center of your canvas. I chose one of the sentiments from the Uniquely Creative Cuts package in your kit, then glued at the bottom of my chipboard frame. I fussycut some flowers from the papers and element sheets. I arranged them and glued around the top edge of my chipboard frame. I took some leaves and draped them around the edges on my frame, adding some foam dots on the back to add dimension and lift. Here's a photo:

Now take one of your Tres Jolie Chipboard Roses pieces in your kit. I applied some Smooch Ink Green apple to the top of my  leaves. See photo:

I cut off a portion of my chipboard leaves and berries and tucked behind some of the floral pieces at the top on my chipboard frame. See photo:

Now take and cut out one of the journal cards from the "Wildflower Greenery" paper in your kit. I fussycut a matching flower image from the Native Passion paper also in your kit. I applied Tim Holtz Distress Ink (my stash) along the edges on my journal card and also my fussycut flower image. See photo:

Using foam dots I adhered the floral fussycut piece on top. Then I glued my journal card on the bottom right corner on my canvas. I added a cute little bird from the Creative Cuts package, at the top of my journal card. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter (my stash)on my bird's feathers and the flowers. I glued a sentiment from the Creative Diecut and then added the cute "joy" epoxy button embellishment! Here's a closeup!

Now from the Peonies and Proteas paper, I fussycut out the large fence using my xaco knife (my stash) to trim out the inside sections. See photos:

I also cut out the Kowala Bear image and May All your Wishes sentiment from the backside Uniquely Creative cover sheet. I adhered my fence along the bottom left corner on my canvas, with foam dots. From the Creative Cuts package, I glued the cute Kowala Bear and added the matching fussycut image on top with foam dots. I tucked acouple floral Creative Cuts behind my flower and Kowala Bear. I glued the sentiment piece on the right side on my fence. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter on my flowers! Here's a photo:

To finish my canvas I glued a few Epoxy Buttons at the top right corner! Now your canvas is ready to hang and enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed my Layout canvas project today! Thanks for visiting our Tres Jolie blog! Look for more projects from our Design Team!

Until next time,  Happy Scrapbooking! Have a safe and enjoyable week!
