Hello again crafty friends! Jeanne back this week with these quick handmade cards. I thought I would show how I have created a layout, a home decor project and these handmade cards using the March Scrapbook Kit.
I really love this whole kit and I still have a few sheets of the Scrapaholics Memoirs papers which includes the sheet of cut outs. So I decided I would use most of what I had left on the cards I made. Both of these cards measure 5x5.
On the first card "Together" I layered the cogs, gears, and flowers from the cut out sheet. I added double sided tape on the clock and on the Tim Holtz Idea-logy Paper Dolls I chose for this card. I added some Prima Marketing and 49 & Market flowers from current and past Tres Jolie Kits. I adhered the "Together" and the wooden hearts from my stash. These are wooden embellishment from a past Prima Marketing collection "Salvage District" . Lastly I added a few peart embellishments.
For my second card "Timeless Treasures", I used the gear cut out adhered with some foam tape for added dimension. Then I added the same flowers from Prima Marketing and 49 & Market. I layered some of these flowers using foam dots. I also chose another of the Tim Holtz Idea-logy Paper Dolls and I added a Melissa Frances resin piece from a past Tres Jolie Kit. Then I added a few of the pearl embellishments. I finished it adhering a couple sentiment stickers from the Finnabair Art Daily Sentiments Booklet which was also from a past Tres Jolie Kit.
As you can see, It's very easy to put together a quick, beautiful handmade cards using leftovers from the Tres Jolie Kits. I actually have a Rubbermaid storage container where I have products left over from the past Tres Jolie Kits. I do hope that I sprinkled a little bit of inspiration your way with these handmade cards this week. Again, I will be back next Friday with another design team project.
