"Timeless" Home Decor Wall Hanging

I'm a fan of vintage and old timeless photos! I'll be creating a Home Decor Vintage Wall Hanging. You can add any photos from your stash. I really love incorporating my photos with home decor so I can display and enjoy for years to come.
For this project we'll be using Tres Jolie June Scrapbook kit! You're going to love it I'm sure. The Scrapbook kit features a 12x12 Collection pack with 16 double sided patterned papers, matching Diecuts, Stickers and Rub'on from Uniquely Creative " Vintage Chronicles" But that's not all. You'll receive two different sets of Tres Jolie’s Chipboards and Prima marketing flowers!
From my stash, I'll be using a wood Rectangle piece measuring 7 & 7/8 x 10 inches for my base.
But you could use any size wood piece you have on hand. I will be inking my papers and Diecuts with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and Rusty Hinge, jute cord, a white Prima flower, foam dots and Mini flair button from Tim Holtz idea-ology Collection, Distress tool.
To start our project, take one piece of "timeless tags" paper from your kit (we will be using the backside with the wood grain. Cut several strips horizontally and lay across the whole wood rectangular base. Ink around the edges and glue in place. See photos:
Set your wood base aside for now. Next I fussycut out the postcard, and camera, Timeless scrabble letters (keeping them intact), chose a few of the Prima flowers from this kit, a Tres Jolie chipboard Swirls piece https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/swirls-scrolls, and a tiny stamp. I glued the small clock piece in the center of my film reel.

Then using a Distress tool I roughed up the edges to give it a worn look. See photo:
I chose a photo for my main focal point and arranged in the center of my wood I took my Postcard slightly tilted, and glued in place, I applied some foam dots to the back of my photo and tucked the film reel behind leaving part of it visible. See photo:
Along the bottom edge, I applied my "Timeless" sentiment with foam dots to add dimension. I also adhered the small camera on the left of my sentiment with foam dots. Taking my Prima flowers, i brushed the petals with Distress Ink , and glued on the lower right corner. I tucked the tiny stamp diecut behind one of my flower petals. I cut out a gold heart and tiny white flower from the element sheet and glued behind my other flowers. The gold heart I applied some foam dots before adhering. See photo:
Now glue your Tres Jolie Chipboard Swirls in the upper left corner. I glued another Prima flower (I applied Distress Ink over the petals) and added a fussycut butterfly from one of the element sheets. Here's a closeup:
I fussycut acouple tickets from the element sheet, stapled them together overlapping each other. Then glued at the upper right corner. And added the mini flair butterfly button! Here's a photo:
To finish my project, I took some jute cord and glued along the edges of my wood base. See photo:
Now you can add a metal hanger as i did (my stash) onto the backside of your wood base or even use ribbon to hang.
Now it's ready to display and enjoy for years to come!
