"Time Has A Wonderful Way Of Showing Us What Really Matters"

 

          

I began by adding Finnabair (Prima Marketing) clear gesso to the base of the clock then added some Folk Art Crackle Medium. I allowed it to air dry over night I then went over it with Finnabair (Prima Marketing) Impasto Paint (Linen) mixed with the Finnabair (Prima Marketing) Liquid Color Fluid Medium from the Mixed Media Kit. 

     

On the Clock it's self, I applied Finnabair Heavy White Gesso along the edges as well as the edges of the clock base. I then mixed some Finnabair Impasto Paint (Snow White) with some of the same Finnabair Liquid Color Medium and some of the "Vintage Roses" Mica Powders from Finnabair from this month's Mixed Media Kit.

Then using a regular printer paper, I traced around the area where I would be adding paper from the Scrapbook Kit which is from Scrapaholics. I traced my template onto the design paper, cut it and adhered it. I then added some light gold trim on some of the areas where the paper is pieced together. 

I must say at the time it seemed like a good idea but as many of us know, sometimes that wasn't the best idea but you still move forward and still create something beautiful. 

          

I then worked on the clock its self, I took the needles off and making another template with a 12X12 scrap paper, I then traced it onto the beautiful papers I had chose from the Scrapbook Kit, I cut it, and adhered it to the base where I had already let let the paint with the mica powders dry. 

I then embossed the larger chipboard clock from the kit with the ultra fine gold embossing powder from the kit as well. 

I adhered the larger one and then cut another of the papers for the smaller clock and adhered that one to the smaller clock. that I had painted using the same paint from the clock edge. *I did forget to mention that I added some Finnabair  texture powder from a previous Tres Jolie kit, into the mica mixed paint.***

   

I then adhered the clock to the larger base using foam tape and E6000 because it had broke when I dropped it so it couldn't be screwed on like it was originally was. I added the needles back onto it and added a battery and voila!!

I then combined a variety of Prima Marketing flowers and 49andMarket flowers from current and past Tres Jolie Kits had left over. I also some cheese cloth in between some flowers, I added the larger Finnabair Art Stones from my stash, and lastly added some of the Finnabair Jewel Effect Paste "Crushed Crystal" with a pallet knife on random flowers. I absolutely recommend using this on all your projects! I love it!!

I also adhered two of the clock gear cut outs from the Scrapaholics Cut Out Sheet included in the Scrapbook Kit.
