The Past was the Future Once Layout with Rae

By now you've seen the April kits, but here's another look at the scrapbook kit:
This month we have the gorgeous Bella paper collection from 13 Arts, as well as the coordinating ephemera pack, A4 sticker sheet, and the small paper stack for card making. The card making papers immediately called to me with the picture of the beautiful woman, and I knew I had to use it in place of a photo on a layout. Here's what I came up with:
I started out by planning out my design, then added some stenciling- I used some black paste with the stencil from this month's mixed media kit, as well as some stamping that would peek out from the design. After that, I added some layers that I distressed and added some black ink to the edges.
I added a couple of clocks from last month's kit to the layers, as well as a few 49 and Market flowers from the kit and also a couple from my stash that are the same brand and color.
I added two different Tres Jolie chipboard pieces to the layout. The first one is the "Fancy Circle Frame" and the decorative border strips. You can find all Tres Jolie chipboard for sale here: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard.
I used Stampendous Aged Black embossing powder on the frame, and black pigment ink on the border strips.
I added the title sticker, "The past was the future once."
