Happy Tuesday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share may first project for April. As I've said many times before, I'm really enjoying working with this kit. If you haven't seen it, here it is:

I did some stamping and stenciling to the background around where I was going to place my photo. I really like how it turned out. You can see a few pink splatters as well. I always prime my paper with clear gesso before using any mediums. It prevents the paper from soaking up the mediums too fast.
All the flowers for this layout came from the kit. I use a piece of chipboard from last months kit, but it can be found in the store
here. I cut it into a few pieces and used it in both of my floral clusters. I used sage liquid pearls on it before I placed it on the layout. Most of the flowers are popped up with foam tape to give them more dimension.
I trimmed the white edges from the ephemera pieces to make them look more fussy cut and used them on the page in my floral cluster as leaves. I added foam tape to them as well for dimension.
For my title, I used this set. I used the Sage liquid pearls on it as well. Here is a close up of my second floral cluster. You can see the other cut piece of chipboard and the die its from the ephemera set. The doily is from my stash. I just cut it in half and used it in 2 places.
As always, Tres Jolie always hosts a monthly sketch or mood board challenge. For the new year we changed up our challenges. We will continue to provide a “mood board” or sketch, it’s just that the rules changed. We want to include our laser-cut chipboard in the challenge. So, with that being said, here are the new rules.
