Sweet Autumn Pumpkin Mini Album

Hi everyone! Jeanne here back this week to share with you my project this week. This is also my take on this month's Mood Board Challenge happening at Tres Jolie right now. I used the October Cards, Tags, & More Kit.

  

When I received this kit, I knew immediately how I wanted to create it. I love anything and everything Vintage combined with Autumn, makes it all that much more wonderful to create. 

 

I began by painting the edges of the chipboard pumpkin album using Folk Art Vintage White Acrylic Paint. I didn't paint it too perfect since I wanted it to be a little distressed  

I left one pumpkin unpainted so I can use it to trace the papers I would be using from the beautiful Craft O' Clock Autumn Moods paper pack. I also used paper and cutouts from my very first kit I ever received from Tres Jolie kit which was Ciao Bella's The Sound of Autumn. 

When cutting my traced paper, I did cut about 1/8 of an inch more from the pencil line. This will be a better fit instead of the entire chipboard piece being completely covered. 

I then inked all of the edges of the pieces of paper, including the cut outs and fussy cut pieces using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. This allows the papers to "Pop" with color against the Vintage White acrylic paint. 

For the cover I ended up adhering a piece of Printed Vellum from Crafters Companion Together Forever Signature Collection By Sara Davis from my stash. 

 

 

On some of the fussy cut images and sentiments of the pages, I did used pop dots for more dimension. I also added some adorable pieces that I made into a pocket and inserted some small tags from the Ciao Bella paper collection. 

Back to the cover, I did fussy cut pieces the cut out sheets from the Craft O' Clock collection and I adhered them onto the cover then adding some Prima flowers from my stash along with the Scrapberry's Gardenia's. I also adhered the Metal Charm Trees from the kit and also adding a handmade stick pin from my stash for a more "vintage" look. 

I finished it off by adding recycled packaging from a past kit. I was from the August 2022 Prima Marketing Finnabair Egg Shrine. I used it to tie my pages together. 

 

 This mini album was so much fun to create and as you can see, I'm always finding ways to use products that I have left over from previous Tres Jolie Kits. Also another tip, save packaging from kits as well. You never know when you might need it.
