Spooktaular Haunted House Chipboard Album

Hello Craft Friends! Are you ready for Halloween and all those cute Trick or Treater's knocking at your door? Have you been busy creating Halloween projects and decorations? I have had fun decorating my house and making cards.

I have a Spooky fun Halloween album project to share with you. I'm using the new Tres Jolie Haunted House chipboard Album. https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/mini-albums

Isn't it cute??? This album will be the perfect spot to store all your Halloween photos! You don't want to miss out so order yours today. I think this would make a nice gift for a grandparent or child.

I'll be using Graphic45 Charmed paper collection along with some other papers in my stash. The other items in my stash are Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper dolls, Halloween ephemera, foam dots, Halloween ribbons, metal rings, washi tape, Dazzle stickers, xaco knife and Distress tool.

To start our project I colored some of the Tres Jolie mini Halloween chipboard pieces https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/holidays

and colored them with my Metallic markers and Smooch inks. These chipboards are from this month's Cards Tags and More kit. You may leave them black if you want. I cut some pieces apart and plan on using some to decorate my album.

Taking my front cover of my album, I cut some Halloween ghosts, sketons and fit them behind my windows. I adhered some spider stickers on some windows and a Charmed sentiment above the door. I fussy cut out the cute little witch and adhered her on the lower right corner. Using foam dots, I adhered a Die cut sentiment "Spooktacular " towards the top and ephemera 13 at the top of my Haunted House. I cut and adhered a striped colored paper and glued on the back of my front cover.  Next I chose several coordinating papers to cover all my album pages. I traced around each house album page including marking the 2 holes on the side with a pencil. Punch your holes and cut around the edge. Taking my x-acto knife I trimmed away any excess paper from each page. You can Distress any rough edges using your Distress tool. Here's some photos:

Now we can decorate our album pages! I like to use a variety of different embellishments to decorate my album pages.

Page 1: I adhered a tag, and gem from my stash on the hole at the top. I added a border sticker sentiment at the bottom.

Page 2: I cut a purple star paper to measure 4 x 2 & 1/2 inches and glued at the bottom. I glued a Tres Jolie chipboard at the bottom. A circle sticker at the top and with foam dots adhered a sentiment and Dazzle stickers on each end. Here's a closeup photo!

Page 3: Small Journaling card flip page. Scored 1/2 inch on the left and adhered onto my page. I glued a bat diecut on the top of my journal card.

Page 4: photo mat from a small journal card. I adhered a chipboard piece at the top and Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper doll with foam dots. Here's acouple photos!

Page 5: I cut out 3 journal cards and kept them attached and using my bone folder I scored between the cards. I glued the bottom journal card to my page. Then I took a pumpkin diecut and applied glue on the right side and tucked my cards behind my diecut to create a stopper. I adhered a chipboard sentiment at the top! Here's a closeup look:

Page 6: I glued a chipboard piece at the top of my page. I cut a border sentiment from my paper and glued at the bottom. I chose a photo and glued behind a chipboard frame and adhered on my page. I glued a Tres Jolie chipboard piece above my frame. Here's some closeup photos!

Page 7: I adhered a witch chipboard piece at the top and added acouple Dazzle stickers over the holes. At the bottom,  I applied a sticker border,  Tres Jolie Chipboard and Tim Holtz paper doll. I adhered a spider sticker in the boys hand. Here's a closeup look:

Page 8: I fussycut the Haunted house, witch and pumpkin image from one of the patterned papers. With foam dots I adhered over the matching image on my page. Here's a photo!

Page 9: I adhered a diecut pumpkin and cat using foam dots and applied another border sticker at the bottom. You have room to add a photo above.

Page 10: I adhered a small journal card at the bottom and a chipboard tag at the top with a Dazzle sticker over the hole on my tag. Here's some photos!

To finish,  I attached 2 metal rings through each hole and tied some Halloween ribbons onto each ring! Here's another look!
