Simple Tag Cards with Rae
Hi, everyone!
Today I'm sharing some simple tag cards I made using the March Cards, Tags, and More kit featuring beautiful 48 and Market paper.
I love to make tags, but I have a hard time knowing what to do with them! One thing that I do like to use them for is putting them on cards, which is what I did here:
I was able to crank these out in about an hour! I started by taking the orange papers and making those the card base. I replicated the design with the blue papers as well. Once I cut out the paper, I used a faux stitching technique using a sewing wheel tool, then I traced the holes using a white gel pen to achieve the white sticking look. I also used this technique on the circles I cut out.
Next, I cut out paper to cover the Tres Jolie chipboard tags, and added a few pieces of the die-cut ephemera, all from the paper pack in the kit, including those sweet butterflies. I added the Melissa Frances resin garland pieces to the top of the tags, and then some lace from my stash to the tag holes.
I cut out the sentiment using the Dress My Craft dies from the kit- love them! They cut out perfectly!
I finished off the look by adding the coordinating 49 and Market flowers.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!
