"Simple Lemon Twist " Loaded Envelope
TGIF Crafty Friends! Jeanne here to share with you my last project of the month using the beautiful Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie Kits! I absolutely enjoyed creating with this kit. I decided I would create something that was a big trend in the craft community not too long ago, A Loaded Envelope!
I have followed this video tutorial on YouTube as I've done before, this is a double expandable pocket loaded envelope that isn't hard at all to create.
I began by using some of the heavy Kaisercraft cardstock from a previous Tres Jolie Kit. I suggest using a heavy cardstock because if you anticipate really loading this envelope with lots of embellishments and extra goodies, then it would be a good idea it be sturdy. As for my lightly loaded envelope I created, I will still be adding lots of crafty goodies.
I used on of my Anna Griffin edge punch on the edge of the pockets. I also added a piece of white lace on the smaller pocket. Then I chose the papers from the Simple Stories collection to paper the envelope base. I aI added stickers and ephemera on the front and a bicycle die cut from my stash.
I thought I would create some of the embellishments using pieces from the Bits & Pieces ephemera packet and the sticker sheet from this collection.
Also using some to create tags and just adding pieces of thin, white ribbon.
I had the adorable mason jar die cut from a previous swap I had done and it matched perfect for this so I just added a sticker from the sticker sheet on it.
I also created a paper rosette using my Martha Stewart Score board then adding a sticker, seam binding and trim for added decor. Lastly adding some of the Prima Marketing Flowers from the kit and my stash. Oh I did forget that I also added some super cute, tiny pearl trim to the smaller pocket.
So as you can see that this month's Scrapbook kit has plenty of supplies in it for multiple projects and I still have sheets of paper left for at least two or three more. As well as other supplies from the kit.
