Simple Cards with the Card Making Kit
Good Morning everyone,
I hope you are having a great Sunday. Today I am sharing a few quick & simple cards I created using the Card Making Club Kit for September. This kit contains pre-made cards with envelopes along with 49th and Market paper & Little Birdie Flowers.
Let's get started -
Here is what I used along with some other supplies from my stash and the Scrapbooking club kit.
The first card is super simple . I used the scalloped tag card. I traced the outline of the card on my pattern paper and cut out two panels for the outside of the card.
After adhering down the panels I trimmed away any excess paper hanging over the edges.
I decorated the from with fussy cutting out one of the butterflies from the paper collection, added some flat back pearls and stamped a sentiment. Now you are finished. Super simple, right?
Our next card is the Pop Up Box Card. This card is simple as well and follows almost the same directions as the above card.
Again you want to trace all your panels on a pattern paper and cut out.
Adhere on all the panels you cut out.
Once you are done adhering the panels you cut out, place tape or glue on the 1/2 inch tab and adhere to the inside of the box. (as shown below)
Now insert the little strips that adhere to the inside of the box. You can paper these with your pattern paper. Simply place glue to the little tabs on the sides of the strips and adhere them to the inside of the box.
The strips should look like the photo below. Now you can decorate with your ephemera. For this pop up box card I used the Scrapbooking Kit with The Plant Department ephemera.
This the finished Pop Up Box card.
Next is the Center Step Card. For this card you are going to pop up the top like a tent and pop up the back, middle and front score lines and the score 2nd score from the back fold down and the 4th score line from back (2nd score line from the front) will fold down as well. It will look like the photo below.
Next measure and cut all your pieces.
Adhere all you pieces and decorate. I used the pretty flowers from the card making kit by Little Birdie. I added lace and a butterfly from my stash.
I hope you liked these quick and simple cards you can create with Septmbers Card Making Club Kit. I love how fast it is to put these together, they come already cut and scored so all you have to do is fold cut your paper and adhere on and decorate to your style, how easy is that.
Thanks for joining me. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Happy Crafting,
Debbie
