Vintage Floral Sentiment Tags
Hello Crafty Peeps!
Dana here! Today I'm going to create some Shabby Vintage Tags using our July Scrapbook kit and Chipboard Tags from Tres Jolie! They come in 2 different sizes. You can find the Chipboard Tags here in the shop: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/miscellaneous
Our Scrapbook kit features this paper collection from Craft 'O' Clock called "Nostalgia ". The 12x12 Doublesided patterned papers are so delicate and have lots of soft and pretty florals. Also included this kit are Tres Jolie Chipboard Hearts and Swirls-2 pieces, White lace trim, Prima Marketing Flowers, and Little Birdie! You also receive a pack of Scrapberry's "French Journey" Resin Embellishments! Here's a photo of the Scrapbook kit:

Also from my stash I am using White pearls, Liquid pearls "Ballerina Pink", Frank Garcia's Memory Hardware Artisian powder-Parthenay (Umber), Teal Green and Pink Tulle, Crafters Workshop 6x6 stencil from this month's Mixed Media kit, Couture Texture Crust paste, foam tape, Finnibair Sparks paint-Butterfly Spells and Dragons Eye, Distress tool, Art Alchemy Meallic Wax Aged Brass, Crafters Companion Die words, scoring board and Prima marketing crystals!
one of the Tres Jolie chipboard frames. You can find them here: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/laser-cut-shaped-cards
Tag 1: I chose one of the 12x12 patterned papers and traced around my large chipboard tag. Cut and trim. Punch the hole at the top of your tag. Glue your paper on you tag. I chose another matching paper and cut to measure 3 & 1/2 x 6 & 1/2 inches. See photo:

Taking the 2nd paper, I tore and distressed around the edges.Glue on top of your previous layer. See photo:

Taking my stencil and some Texture Crust paste I applied some at the top and bottom edges on my tag. See photos:

Set your tag aside to dry. Now I took my Tres Jolie chipboard frame and with my finger I rubbed some Metallic Wax over the top. See photo:

Afterwards I glued a image of a vintage lady behind my chipboard frame. See photo:

On the bottom edge of my tag, I cut a piece of the white lace from the kit, and glued in place.

Taking my chipboard frame in added some foam tape on the backside and adhered my frame in the center of my tag. Then I applied some Liquid pearls Ballerina.pink on all 4 points on my chipboard frame. See photo:

Setting aside my tag, I took a "Love" die and diecut the sentiment from a scrap piece of paper from the kit.

I also diecut some leaves and foliage(my stash)using scrap paper from this collection. See photo:

Next I took the teacup resin piece from our kit and with a stiff brush and some Artisian powder-Parthenay and lightly brushed over the teacup. See photo:

The Roses inside the teacup I applied some Pearl Ex Pigment powder over top with my waterbrush. The Pearl Ex Pigment powder-Pink Gold was from a previous Tres Jolie Mixed Media kit. You can use paints, inks, whatever you have on hand to color yours resin pieces or even leave them plain white.

I took some Little Birdie and Prima marketing flowers and glued along the bottom edge of my tag. I tucked in a few wite pearls between my flower petals and then glued my sentiment word across the top of my flowers! Here's a closeup look:

To finish this tag, I tied some Teal green and pink tulle through the hole at the top! Here's another photo:

Tag 2: I chose 2 different patterned papers from the kit and cut the 1st one down to 3 & 1/4 x 6 & 1/2 inches. Punch hole and glue onto your small tag. I cut a piece of white lace and glued along the bottom edge.

The 2nd paper, I tore diagonally and distressed around the edges. Then glue along the left side on your tag. See photo:

Set your tag aside. Take out one of the Tres Jolie chipboard heart and Swirls piece from the kit. I cut into 2 pieces.

You can save the top piece for our other tag. We will use the larger heart and swirl. Taking some Clear ink and copper embossing powder I applied over my chipboard Swirl. Heat emboss. The heart I applied some Versamark Clear ink and sprinkled over top some Carnation pink Embossing powder. Then heat embossed. (These items were in my stash) again use whatever you have on hand.

I diecut the word Love with some leftover scrap paper. I took another resin piece (basket of Roses) and i applied some Lindy's magicals Bayou Gold ( this was also from a previous Tres Jolie Mixed Media kit)over the top with my waterbrush. And on the Roses I applied some Luna Paste Moonlight Pearl ( my stash) Let dry.

Now I chose some Prima Marketing Flowers from the kit. I arranged them in the center of my tag. I glued my Love diecut sentiment over top, added some white pearls. The Chipboard heart and Swirls I glued at the top. I glued the Resin basket of Roses at the bottom. To finish I added a few Prima crystals and tied some Teal green tulle into a bow! Here's some photos!

Tag 3: Chose 2 more papers from the kit. Glue your 1st paper on your tag. I left the border strip in place on the bottom. Punch hole at the top and glue onto your tag base. The second paper layer is cut to measure 3 & 1/4 x 5 & 1/4, I tore and distressed around the edge and with foam tape I adhered on top of my first paper.
See photo:

Take the 2 leftover chipboard heart and Swirls piece. I applied Finnibair Butterfly Spells paint on my chipboard heart. On the Swirls chipboard I applied Finnibair Sparks Dragons Eye paint. Let dry. See photo:

Next gather some Prima flowers. Diecut Hello sentiment using scrap paper.

Take out the Resin clock and with a stiff brush apply the Artisian powder-Parthenay over top of your resin clock.

Take your chipboard tag and glue the Swirls chipboard at the top right corner. With foam tape I added the chipboard heart. I glued my Prima marketing flowers towards the bottom. Added the sentiment diecut piece on top of my flowers and tucked some white pearls between my flower petals as before. Then Resin clock i glued on the bottom left corner. To finish I tied some Pink Tulle through the hole on my tag! Here's some finished photo!

There we finished creating all our tags! I think these would make a perfect addition to add to any swap, Stuffed Envelope (look for a future project idea) or just alittle something extra to give as a surprise to any special crafty friend!
