Sew Me into your Heart Slimline card

Hi Crafter Friends!

I'm Dana and I'm back to share a Slimline card I created using the May Tres Jolie Cards, Tags and More kit! Slimline cards are all the craze now. So I thought this kit would make some beautiful cards! I enjoy surprising crafty friends with some happy mail!

To make this card I took a piece of the white cardstock included in this kit, and cut it to measure 7&1/2 x 8 & 1/2 inches. Score at 3 & 3/4 inches and take your bone folder to crease. Then I chose a coordinating paper and cut it down to size leaving about 1/4 inch of white card around the edges. I matted another patterned paper onto white cardstock. Then I adhered my card layers to my base card using foam dots. This adds dimension. I took two pieces of lace from my stash, and adhered to both ends of my card.

Next I took acouple ephermera pieces and cut out one of the journaling cards from the paper pad and adhered to the front of my card. I used pop dots to adhere my empherma shape on the right of my card. Finished it off with a Prima flower and fussy cut butterfly image. The scissors charm from my stash I glued at the top. Then added some glitter touches to the butterfly wings and alittle Luna paste "Golden Sand" to my flower petals. I added a pop dot to the back of my heart ephermera piece and adhered above on the left side. Here's another close up of my card:
