Revealed: Architectural Drama with Kim’s April Card Kit Creations

Elevating Your Cards with Arch Chipboard

We’ve been eager to share these new arch chipboard pieces with you, and Kim’s projects show exactly why. By using these architectural elements as the focal point of her cards, she’s achieved a level of dimension and "wow factor" that makes them look like sophisticated, high-end designs.

Card 1: Natural Elegance In the first card, Kim paired the Ciao Bella Artemis papers (featuring those beautiful pink blooms and that incredible parrot) with a large distressed gold arch chipboard window.

• The Focal Point: The parrot is framed perfectly in front of the distressed arch, making it feel like you are peeking into a private aviary.

• Layering with Sentiment: Kim stacked the gorgeous pink flowers and neutral burlap blooms below the arch, anchoring the entire design, and added a subtle sentiment that balances the larger parrot image.

Card 2: Moody Art Nouveau For the second design, Kim went deeper and moodier, leaning into the deeper teal tones and Art Nouveau-inspired patterns of the kit.

• Architectural Contrast: She utilized a deep purple and textured gold arch chipboard piece to create a striking contrast against the detailed pattern paper.

• Storytelling Frames: This arch creates two "peek-a-boo" windows: one framing the vintage woman with her flower crown, and another featuring a subtle, inspiring sentiment. The way she has layered these images in front and behind the chipboard adds so much depth!

• Simple Accents: To finish this sophisticated look, she added a cluster of the delicate green paper flowers included in the kit, perfectly mirroring the floral details in the background image.
