Remember...Vintage Layout

Hi Craft Friends! Dana here! I'm excited about our newest July Scrapbook kit from Tres Jolie! It features Simple Stories Simple Vintage Essentials collection pack, Captured Bits, and Ephemera pack. Also included are Tres Jolie Chipboards  and gorgeous flowers from Little Birdie!

It's jam-packed with products perfect for any scrapbooker or paper crafter!

Today I'll be creating a layout project. I love the vintage look and I have vintage photos that match the vintage theme and days gone by.

The background paper I chose from the Simple Stories paper collection pack is called "Documented" the photo I chose is a photo of my grandma and auntie at her wedding shower. I love the old black telephone in the background. 

I like to plan out the placement of my photos and embellishments, before adhering to my layout. I trimmed my photo to fit on one of the layered Ephemera pieces and glued in place. I took another ephemera layered piece and glued to the center of my layout at an angle. Using some black number stickers (from my stash)  i added the year this photo was taken. Here's a closeup photo!

I took acouple sentiment pieces from the Captured Bits pack. I stapled "Remember " towards the top of my layout. I glued the Vintage sentiment to the left of my photo mat.

Using foam dots from my stash, I applied to the back of my camera ephemera piece and adhered at the bottom. I glued one ephemera heart on the bottom edge. Here's a photo!

Next I chose a chipboard swirls piece from Tres Jolie, (my stash) you can find these in the shop. I glued the chipboard piece on the bottom right corner of my layout. I took some of the pretty Little Birdie flowers in this kit, and arranged and glued on top of my chipboard swirls, leaving some chipboard visible. Here's a closeup look!

Now take the Tres Jolie black filmstrip piece from your package. I cut some tiny images from the front page of your paper pack. I trimmed 5 different images and glued behind each filmstrip window. Then adhered this on the upper right corner. Here's a closeup photo!
