Happy Monday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share my first project for July. I needed to make an anniversary card. So I pulled out the July cards, tags and more kit and went to work.

If you haven't seen it, here it is:
These papers from Dress my Craft are just amazing! They have a nice vintage feel to them yet they are very versatile.
Here is my card:

 

How about some close ups:
This card was pretty simple to make. For the center cluster, I used the die from the kit and cut out the doily. Glued it down, added some green moss from my stash. The flowers and seam binding are from the kit as well. The resin heart is from my stash. The art stones are from a previous mixed media kit. 
For the base, I used cream cardstock from my stash. Then I layered 2 separate sheets of paper from the kit. I cut the 1/4 size smaller than each other and the base. I used some brown ink on the edges. I also used some thin foam tape between the two layers of paper to give some added dimension.

The chipboard piece came from the store. I covered it with clear gesso before I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I cut it into 2 pieces and place it into the center cluster.

We will continue to provide a “mood board” or sketch, it’s just that the rules changed. We want to include our laser-cut chipboard in the challenge. So, with that being said, here are the new rules.
