Quick and easy Valentine's Day card

Happy Monday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share my first project for February. I pulled out the February cards, tags and more kit and went to work.

If you haven't seen it, here it is:
Here is my card:
I needed a quick Valentine's Day card. This card was really easy to make and that came in handy. It's all about the embellishments.
 
How about some close ups:

 I follow the same format for most cards I create. For the background, I cut the paper to cover the cardstock. I left a 1/4 inch border all the way around. Papers were distressed and ink before I glued them down.

 For my layers, I took another piece of cardstock and used 2 dies from my stash. I took one of the "tag" pieces and placed it on top of a doily I cut using a die from my stash.

I used foam dots to create depth. Added some flowers, pearls and seam binding for the bow. The sentiment was from a past kit. I also distressed and ink the edges of all the paper.
