"Pretty In Pink" Scrapbook Layout
Hi Crafty Friends! Today I am sharing with you another scrapbook layout I've created using the September Scrapbook Kit from Tres Jolie. This kit has a variety of absolutely beautiful papers for feminine and masculine layouts plus much more!
As most of you might know by now, I absolutely love shabby, anything and everything pink? So when I seen the featured photo on Pinterest, I knew it would look amazing with one of the sheets from the 3Quarter Designs Gilded Steampunk paper pad that's in the Scrapbook kit this month.
I started by adhering the 12x12 sheet onto a black chipboard sheet, I did this because I wanted it to pop. Also since some of the flowers I would be using had dark brown stems on it, that it would go well with the flowers I would be using that are from my stash.
I began by adhering the photo onto an ivory piece of card stock then using one of the 3/4 sheets from the scrapbook kit collection, I cut it in half and adhered it together vertically to use it as a mat for my photo. I adhered the photo onto it using double sided tape, I then used double sided foam tape to adhere it to my base.
I then started adhering the variety of Prima Marketing flowers from my stash as some are most likely from past Tres Jolie Kits. Once I was finished adhering the flowers, I used some Matte Gel from Ranger to add some Finnabair Art Stones from a previous kit ,they have lasted me a long time. I also added some Twinklets Diamond Dust, also from a previous Tres Jolie Kit.
Lastly I added the metal piece that was included in this month's Mixed Media kit and added a piece of earring that I have in my stash to use on projects. It fit just right!
Well that is how I created this shabby layout my friends! It was fun and simple to create. I love when a project comes together quickly and beautifully. I do hope that I've sprinkled you with inspiration! Don't forget to join our mood board challenge as well! Details below!
