Today I have some fun Pop up Cards to share along with two matching Chipboard Tags from Tres Jolie! I'm using the new Tres Jolie Cards Tags and More kit! Here's what you'll be receiving: Little Birdie Crafts "Shabby Chic Boutique paper pad, (12 designs, 2 of each ) this paper is very sturdy 250 GSM, Dresden Gold Bu,Lace trim, Library Cards-2, Guest checks, Milk bottle caps-5 total, playing cards, other ephemera, jute cord plus 3 Kraft cardstock Tags, mini junk journal to decorate, and Crafters Companion-Bohemian Stamp set! Here's a photo:
From my Stash I am using 3- 5x5 white card bases, 49 and Market Small pink Roses from a previous Tres Jolie Kit, black ink, foam dots, Prima Antique Mirror circle shape, Stickles Glitter, Epoxy button Pink Tulle Prima Crystals and pink sticker dot.
I will be applying ink from my stash, on all the edges of my papers and fussycut elements!
To Create the Pop up mechanism to attach to the inside of each card, I cut a piece of white cardstock to measure 6 & 3/4 x 2 & 3/4.
Fold this piece in half as pictured below:
Open up this piece of paper and fold both ends to meet at the center. Here's how it should look so far:
Open your piece of paper so you have Valley, Mountain and Valley. See photo:
Set aside and repeat this process using 2 other cardstock pieces of paper. Glue one end of each Pop up mechanism, to the top and bottom on the inside of your card. I glued about 1 & 1/2 inches down from the top inside of my card. Glue the other end in roughly the center left side.
Card #1: I cut my first patterned paper ( tan stripes) to measure 5x5, adhere onto the front of your card. Then cut the pink Roses paper to measure 4 & 3/4 x 4 & 3/4 inches and with foam dots adhere on the top of your previous paper. I glued some of the lace trim along the top edge of my card. See photos:
Using some of the patterned papers scraps I cut them to measure 2 & 1/2 inches long adhere onto the 1st and 3rd flap on the Pop up mechanism. Take one of the sentiment stamps from the kit, and with black ink i stamped my sentiment on the bottom flap. We will add some fussycut images later.
To embellish the front of my card, I took a Prima Marketing Antique Mirror circle and glued towards the left edge. Then I did some fussycutting. I cut out a Circle birdcage, and birdies images. I glued the circle image in the center of my Prima Antique Mirror and with foam dots, I adhered my bird's and roses. I stamped another sentiment below my circle embellishment. Here's acouple closeups!
Card #2: I cut the tan and white polka dots paper to 5x5 inches and attached to the front of my card. My second paper I cut into 8 strips (save your leftover strips of paper) see photo:
and cut one long strip into 3 different lengths and did some fussycutting of a small bird, birdcage, metal bracket, small roses, and a circle piece. I glued a piece of lace along the bottom edge. See photo:
I glued one long strip above the lace at the bottom. With foam dots, I adhered my birdcage and bracket at the top right corner. I glued the tiny bird on the bottom edge of my birdcage. The small roses at the top of my birdcage. I added a small pink Dazzle sticker (my stash)on the end of my metal bracket. Using one of the stamps in our kit, i stamped a sentiment inside my circle piece and then glued in place on my card front. I added a small 49 & Market flower at the top. Here's some photos of the finished card:
Inside of my Pop up card I cut apart some strips and glued them on the inside Pop up flaps, Stamped another sentiment and acouple fussycut pieces. Here's a photo:
Card #3: Taking some of my leftover scraps we saved, in addition to cutting the polka dot and circle roses papers into 1/2 inch long strips. See photo:
Ink along the edges and start by weaving your paper strips across the front of your card to create a lattice effect. Glue your strips in place and trim off any excess paper. Here's a photo:
I fussycut out a pocket watch and Roses images and with foam dots I adhered onto the front of my card. I also stamped another sentiment at the bottom left corner. Here's some photos!
Inside I glued acouple more leftover strips on the pop up flaps, stamped another sentiment on the bottom flap. Here's a photo of the inside of my card:
Now we can create our 2 Tres Jolie Chipboard Tags. They measure 3 & 1/4 x 6 & 1/2 inches. You can find them here in the shop: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/miscellaneous
I covered both tags with patterned papers from the kit, both front and backside. I left the chipboard tag visible about 1 inch at the top. Ink papers and glue.
Tag 1: I fussycut out a lace border from one of my leftover scraps and glued on the left side. See photo:
I tore another scrap piece and glued at the bottom edge of my chipboard tag. I fussycut out the lamp/roses image and acouple leaves. See photo:
With foam dots I adhered my lamp post image. I added a small pink rose from 49&Market (from a previous Tres Jolie Kit) and glued the flower over the fussycut piece. I stamped a sentiment at the top and glued both leaves at the bottom. see photos:
To finish my Tag, i tied and knotted my punk Tulle through the hole on my tag and glued an Epoxy button on top! Here's a closeup!
Tag 2: I glued my patterned paper in place and added a piece of white lace from our kit at the bottom. I cut off both ends of my Tres Jolie chipboard border piece (you can find it here: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/borders
I took the ink from our kit and applied to the top of my chipboard piece. See photo:
Glue your chipboard piece on your tag. Here's a photo:
I fussycut out the two birds/roses image and with foam dots adhered at the bottom edge of my tag. I added acouple pink Starburst gems(my stash) on each end of my chipboard. I tied pink tulle through the hole on my tag and glued another pink rose on top. Here's some finished photos:
