Nautical Adventure Layout!

Hello Crafters! I'm Dana and I have a nautical layout to share with you. I'm using the May Scrapbook kit from Tres Jolie! This month's kit features 49 & Market "Vintage Artistry Everywhere collection!

It's the perfect choice for scrapbooking all your travel photos and memories! The kit comes with a 12x12 Collection pack, Laser Elements, 49 & Market flowers, Tres Jolie Chipboards and so much more! You'll be able to create many layouts and more projects from just one kit. So order your kit today before they sell out!

I'll be using some items from my crafty stash along with a few other items from this collection that I purchased separately.

To begin I chose one of the patterned 12x12 papers in the collection pack to use for my background. I wanted a nautical theme to match up with my photos. I'm using "In the Deep" paper. Cut off tge border strip at the bottom and save this piece. It can always be used on another project or layout.

Next I took the nautical chipboard pieces and I covered the top with Martha Stewart Sterling silver glitter and turquoise glitter embossing powder, from my stash. Heat your embossing powder using heat tool. Then using craft glue from my stash, I applied my glue onto the inside section on my chipboard piece.   Now sprinkle some silver glitter over top. Shake off any excess glitter. Set aside to dry throughly.

While your chipboard dries, I chose several Laser elements to decorate my layout as well as a few photos. I decide on placement of my embellishments before I adhere them to my page.

In the upper left corner I applied a few Washi tape stickers (my stash) and a photo. On top of my photo I added a sentiment ephemera piece.

On the bottom left corner I adhered a piece of netting and a metal starfish, shells (from my stash) and acouple flowers (Blue small flower in your kit) I adhered a chipboard sentiment on top of my netting. (From my stash and chipboard words from this collection) Here's a closeup look!

In the upper right corner using foam dots, I applied the compass Laser element, another metal wheel embellishment and chipboard sentiment ( both from my stash) I adhered another photo underneath my chipboard sentiment. Here's a closeup!

On the bottom right edge, I added a small photo, glued my chipboard piece in place along with a Laser element sentiment and binoculars. Here's a closeup!

I hope I've inspired you with my layout and you'll grab your photos, purchase your kit and get Scappin!
