"My Family" Simple VIntage Ancestry Layout

Hi again, crafty friends! This week, I am back to share with you this layout I created using the January Cards, Tags, & More Kit from Tres Jolie Kits. I decided I'd create a layout of my family using this perfect collection. 

The paper pad that came in this kit is from Simple Stories. It is actually called Simple Vintage Ancestry Collection in 6 X 8 pad. So, I was able to select and trim 4 pages into 6 X 6. Then, I distressed the edges of all the papers using my Prima Distress Tool. Using my dauber, I applied some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Next, I placed each piece onto a 12 X12 chipboard sheet.

I then selected the frames that were part of the kit and printed my photos out. Once that was done, I added recycled cardboard for dimension. Then, I adhered them onto the different areas of my layout. 

 

Once my frames with photos were adhered onto my layout, I began picking out the foam stickers from this same collection and adhering them with extra glue for added sturdiness. Lastly, adhered a couple of flowers that came with the kit that are from 49 and Market.
