Mother's Day Handmade Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Jeanne here back this week with this handmade card I created for Mother's Day. I used this month's Cards, Tags, & More Kit from Tres Jolie, 

I absolutely love this Bo Bunny "Garden Grove" Collection and with this kit you are able to create so many projects for spring or summer! 

My mother is no longer with my family and I, I know she would have loved this card. She loved flowers and pinks and peach colored flowers were one of her favorite colors. I think she is why these are my favorite colors of flowers as well!

I cut an 8.5 X 11 white card stock into 5 x 7, I picked out the sheet of pattern paper from the 6 X 8 Garden Grove Paper Pad from the kit. 

Next using my Prima Marketing Distress Tool I distressed all around the pattern paper. I adhered it then began embellishing. 

I then picked out a vintage lace from Lavish Laces and adhered it using my hot glue gun, scrunching it a little while I adhered it, just to show a little ruffling on the edges. Next I took some of the Prima Marketing Rossi Belle Flower Chain Trim adding it to the edge of the trim. Then took some of the flowers from 49 and Market from this month's Scrapbook Kit (Pink and Small Orange) and some variety Prima Marketing ones from my stash and made a flower cluster, adhering them with hot glue. 

While adhering the flowers I added a little bit of quilting thread in between the flowers. Next I added some white pearls randomly placed. Lastly I mixed some Finnabair Vintage Roses Mica Powder (Light Green) with a little water and made splatters on the card. 

I loved creating with this kit, there is much more that this kit contains. I will probably be creating another project using this kit.
