Happy Monday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share my first layout for August. As for working with this kit, like I always say it was so much fun. I pulled a few things from my stash that I hadn't used in a while and went to work.
If you haven't seen the kit, here it is:
These papers from Craft O'Clock are just so pretty. They have some of the prettiest papers.

This layout was inspired by the August Mood Board Challenge.

I tore the top and bottom edge off the top sheet as well. I did some distressing to the edges as well. I added a piece of the doily under between the two sheets. Topped it with a flower. I also layered some lace on my base.
I cut the square center from the base sheet and added it to the top as a background for my photo. I also use a small piece of the paper down the side of my photo. I fussy cut the tag and added some white seam binding for a past kit to it. Topped it with a butterfly from my stash. The chipboard piece got a coat of white gesso and then randomly dry brushed with some mist. The flowers are from the kit.
I used more flowers from the kit (except for the tiny ones. They are from a past kit). There is the fussy cut tag, I added the seam binding. The cameo is from the kit as well. There are lots of layers and distressing on this layout.
