Mood Board Monday
Happy Monday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share my first layout for July. As for working with this kit, it was so much fun to get back to something girly after last months all masculine kits.
If you haven't seen the kit, here it is:

I did some stenciling and misting to the background around where I was going to place my photo. I really like how it turned out. I always prime my paper with clear gesso before using any mediums. It prevents the paper from soaking up the mediums too fast.
All the flowers in this cluster came from the kit. The chipboard is from the store, you can find it here (I cut in into 3 pieces to use on the page). I added some gold embossing powder to give it more texture (I applied clear gesso first).
I used an old floral spray from my stash and added a few flowers from the kit to fill it out. I added foam tape to them as well for dimension. The resin butterfly is from my stash. I added the gold embossing powder again for more texture.
