Mixed Media Canvas using September MM Kit of the Month

Hey everyone. Liv here to bringing you my first project using this month's September Mixed Media Set. The full video here shows how I made this canvas using some of the amazing items in the kit and the Tres Jolie Chipboards

I started off with priming the canvas with White Gesso and then using the Prima Marketing Mica powders that came in the kit to create my own gesso colors. I was in the mood to use blue and green together as the base. 

Next, I used one of the stencils I received from a previous Tres Jolie kit to add more dimension to the project. 

Once I did that, I took a stamp from my stash and used the gilding flakes glue to stamp some images down. I then took my gilding flakes and applied it to the stamped areas.

I then did some random stamping, added some Lindy gang spray to the edges and some rub on stamps. I then decided to apply more gilded flakes onto the chipboard piece as well to make it match with the flakes on the background. 

 Then I took some chipboard pieces from my stash, colored them with more of the custom color gesso I created with adding the mica powder to the white gesso. Finally I added some Nuvo drops and a sentiment and my piece is done.
