Mixed Media Canvas
Welcome back everyone. It's Liv here and today I am featuring a Mixed Media Canvas I created using the June 2023 Mixed Media Kit. Not only are we bringing you new projects using the new June kits but it's also Tres Jolie's 5 year Anniversary, stay tuned as I know we have lots of fun challenges and events coming up. I started to be drawn to mixed media because I appreciate the opportunity to create art that can be messy, imperfect but beautiful at the same time. I'm sharing a few photos as well as video of how it all together:

To start off, I used my oil pastels and covered my canvas with the crayons. The canvas colors were primarily blue, black and gray with some hints of orange. Reminder oil pastels can be messy. To blend the colors, baby oil works well.
Next I used Heavy White Gesso with the stencil. Be sure to watch the video to also see how I "stamp" with the stencil. I then used my heat gun to dry it off.
I then added the Dress My Craft Transfer me Images throughout the canvas.
And finished off the canvas with chipboard, mini stones, and of course splatter.
