Mixed Media Art Canvas

Hey everyone. Liv here to bring you another project using this month's August Mixed Media Set. The full video here shows how I make my own collage papers to give you some fun ideas. 

For this one, I decide to replicate a frame I had done earlier this month. First up, I used a pre-stained rice paper from my stash and collage over it with a variety of stamps.

Once that was done, I glued it down to the middle of the frame and then used ripped scraps from the papers to cover the frame edges. 

Then I covered the sides of the piece with the paste since the coverage is so great and carried some of the gold in the center to tie it together better.

I used the same Paste to color the resin pieces and combined it with some of my Distress Ink sprays.  I then took the gold paste on the lighbulb to act more like a wax and bring the raised pieces up.

Then I glued everything down and my project is complete.
