Magical Fairies Layout
Hello Craft Friends!
Dana here. Happy September! Hope you all are having a great week so far. I'm excited to show you the layouts I created using Tres Jolie September Scrapbook kit! I think you'll love this kit! Don't forget to order early because they can sell out quickly.
In this month's Scrapbook kit you'll receive Uniquely Creative 12x12 Collection pack "Boho Picnic" with 16 Double sided patterned papers (2 of each) and several cut apart sheets to fussycut. These are great for creating layouts, mini albums and more. You'll also receive matching Uniquely Creative diecuts, Prima Marketing Flowers and Tres Jolie Chipboard.
From my stash, I'll be using Finnibair Sparks paint-Dragon's Eye, paintbrush, foam dots and tape, Stickles Glitter Stardust and Diamond
To create my first layout, I chose a patterned background paper- Freya. Taking a stiff paintbrush and Finnibair Sparks paint Dragons Eye, and a small amount of water, using my finger I scattered the paint onto my background paper. See photos:
Set aside your paper to dry. Next I chose multiple images from the cut apart sheets and Fussycut out all my images. I inked along the edges of all my fussycuts, using Distress Ink Gathered Twigs from my stash. Here's a photo:
To create my window I cut a piece of cellophane packaging from the Uniquely Creative Creative diecuts pack see photo:
Glue your cellophane piece on the backside of your fussycut window. Set aside for a moment. See photo:
Take your fussycut Macame wall hanging and with a small scissors cut between the bottom pieces to create a fringed look. I bend some of the fringe upward to create movement. See photo:
Next chose a photo or two small photos if you like, and arrange in the center, positioning the window over the florals on the left. I wanted the flowers to appear behind the window panes as you would see looking out. I added foam tape to the backside of my window before adhering to my layout page. I adhered my photo on the right side. Then with foam dots, I applied my fussycut fairy at the top of my window to appear that she is sitting on top of the window ledge. Here's a closeup!
The Macame wall hanging I adhered on the left side with foam dots and I applied a brown pearl gem at the top of the wall hanging. Here's a photo:
In the upper right corner of my layout, I adhered the other fairy with foam dots. See photo:
Take a few of the Uniquely Creative Cuts sentiments and with foam dots I adhered in scattered places on my page. I used the sentiments Magical, blissful and perfect!
On the right of my photo I adhered another floral fussycut piece and fussycut leaves. Along the bottom edge of my layout, I fussycut and adhered another floral piece. On the left of the window, I tucked some fussycut leaves behind my window. Here's some photos:
On the upper left corner I glued 2 Prima flowers from the kit, and a fussycut dragon fly. I applied some Stickles Stardust glitter on the dragon flies wings, fairy wings and some florals. Here's a photo:
Here's another look at my finished layout:
For my second layout I chose to use the Clementine 12x12 paper. I love the scene on this paper and found the perfect photo to use.
Cut off the border strip along the bottom. Then taking the cut apart sheets I fussycut multiple images, including a sentiment I wanted to use. The tree branch and wood frame/rug image I cut from another matching paper. See photo:
I also fussycut out 2 clouds, lantern, camera snail, outomen, and bamboo cage.
From the Uniquely Creative Cuts package I chose the floral numerals 52, to match when this photo was taken. Some fussycut images I didn't use so I'll be saving for a future project.
With foam dots I adhered the bottom piece in place, added my photo along the bottom as if they were laying on the rug on the beach! I took the package of Prima Pink flowers and snipped off a small flower from the vine, and glued at the bottom of my lantern. With foam dots I adhered the outomen and camera and glued the snail at the bottom edge. Taking some more Prima flowers from the kit, I glued them onto the floral image on my wooden frame and tucked a fussycut flower behind.
Here's some photos:
The tree branch and butterfly were adhered over the matching images at the top right corner on my page with foam dots.i also applied some Stickles Diamond glitter to the clouds and butterfly wings.See photo:
My finished layout:
