Love, Celebration and Family Acrylic Chipboard Album

Hello Craft Friends!

Welcome here! I'm Dana and I'm sharing my last project for the month of September. Today I'm going to be creating a Acrylic/Chipboard Album using Tres Jolie September Scrapbook kit!

This kit includes a 12x12 Collection pack of Double sided papers,  and matching Creative diecuts from Uniquely Creative. You'll even receive bonus sheets with tags and images, plus plenty of fun fussycut images to decorate your layouts, albums, Tags and More. Also included are two packs of Prima Marketing Flowers and Tres Jolie Chipboards https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/nature

Here's a photo of the Scrapbook kit:

From my stash, I am using Clear Scraps Acrylic Chipboard Album, Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, Stickles Glitter Stardust and Diamond, Tulle in Gold, Pink and White, Smooch inks in Green apple, Sundance Gold and Red, Dazzle stickers, hole punch.

To start I chose a variety of patterned papers from the collection to cover all my album pages including the front and back covers. When using Acrylic pages, you need to peel off the protective film from both sides before adhering your papers. I leave part of the Acrylic visible and remember that the paper you chose will show through the opposite side. I also recommend Clear adhesive when working with Acrylic.

Now we can start decorating our album pages.

Front Cover: My album cover measures 4 & 1/2 x 5 inches, so I cut down my paper slightly smaller  4 & 1/4  x 4 3/4 inches, so the outside edge of my Acrylic is visible. I used the pattern paper "Delilah"  make sure to punch your holes on the side before gluing your paper in place. See photo:

To decorate the front cover, I cut a sentiment Happy Birthday, fairy, cake, stand and florals from my scraps. See photo:

I Ink the edges and adhered to my page, using foam dots on the backside of my fairy, cake, stand and florals. This adds some dimension. For the sentiment flag. I curled both ends using my bone folder and applied glue to the center. This adds movement. I glued one of the Prima flowers along the bottom edge. Here's acouple closeups!

Back of front cover: I cut our 3 small tags from the element cover sheet, see photo:

I scored at the top and adhered them as a waterfall on my page. I fussycut a birthday cake image from the element sheet and glued on the upper left corner. I applied a few Dazzle stickers onto my cake. I fussycut the Happy Birthday circle sentiment and glued underneath my waterfall on the lower left corner and added a vellum circle party sentiment on the right. I love these vellum pieces in the Uniquely Creative Cuts package. They have adhesive backs which makes it so easy to add to your pages. Here's some photos:

My finished page:

Page  3: I cut a piece of Willow paper to 6 1/4 x 6 3/4 inches, trimming off some on both sides so the center image on the paper fits across my page. Using an xaco knife from my stash, i trimmed away any excess paper. See photo:

Punch your holes and adhere onto your page. I added a photo of my granddaughter in the center with some Prima flowers and Creative Cuts sentiments from the kit. Here's some photos:

Page 3 backside: I cut out one of the small Journaling cards and scored 1/2 on the right side. See photo:

Then glue towards the top of your page to create a flip page. I fussycut out some images from the cut apart sheets and adhered the small flower using foam dots. For the round straw circle image,  I cut a small piece of mirrored cardstock and glued behind the circle image to create a mirror. See photo:

Underneath my flip page, I added a photo and a  sentiment from the Uniquely Creative Cuts package aandglued in place. See photo:

My fairy and butterfly I glued at the bottom and applied some Stickles Stardust glitter on the fairy wings. Here's a closeup!

Page 4: Acrylic Scallop page, I covered my album page with another patterned paper:

Take out one of the Tres Jolie chipboard pieces. I colored mine using some Smooch inks from my stash. You can use any inks, paints or glitter to decorate your chipboard piece. See photo:

Then I added acouple gems to the larger flowers and Dazzle stickers on the centers of my smaller flowers. I added a photo on the side. Here's a finished photo:

Page 5: I created a pocket page. I cut my pocket to measure 5 & 1/4 x 3 & 1/2 inches. I cut out one small tag and 2 journal cards and chose a sentiment from the Creative Cuts package see photo:

I tucked my cards and tag inside my pocket. On my small tag, I added a Prima marketing crystal from my stash. At the top of my page, I cut out 3 banner pieces and glued along the top. Here's a photo:

Page 6: I fussycut out a small window image from the cut apart sheets. With my xaco knife i cut out the window pane areas. I also cut out acouple fairies, table/chairs/ cake, butterfly and floral images from my scraps. See photo:

I took a small piece of acetate from my stash and glued behind my window. See photo:

I then took one of my fairy images and glued her behind the bottom window pane, to appear she is looking outside. See photo above. With foam dots I adhered my window on the right side. I glued a Prima flower and fussycut florals on the upper right corner on my window. And glued my butterfly on the bottom window sill. The other fairy I adhered with foam dots on the left side. And added foam dots to the backside of my table image and glued on the bottom edge. I added my circle sentiment at the top using foam dots. Here's a photo:

Page 7: I fussycut out the hot air balloon and acouple florals and Leaves from my scraps. With foam dots I adhered the hot air balloon on the upper left corner. I glued my flowers in place on the balloon. I fussycut out a Beautiful day sentiment and glued at the top. From the Creative Cuts package I adhered some gold numerals diagonally on the right side. Added a photo at the bottom. Here's acouple photos:

Page 7(Last page)

I fussycut out the wreath image and with my xaco knife I cut out the inside areas on my wreath. I adhered on the upper left corner with foam dots. I glued a few Prima Marketing Flowers and leaves on my wreath. Inside my wreath, I applied one of the pink vellum pieces. Using two additional vellum pieces I adhered at the right. I added a wedding photo at the bottom and some of the gold numerals in the Creative Cuts package. I fussycut out a wedding day sentiment and glued along the bottom. Here's acouple photos:

 My finished page:

To finish my album, I thread some Colored Tulle through all the holes and tied a knot. Then trimmed off any excess Tulle.

Here's a finished closeup photo:
