Happy Monday guys, Kim here. Today I am here to share may first project for May. As I've said many times before, I'm really enjoying working with this kit. It's such a versatile kit.

I did some stenciling and misting to the background around where I was going to place my photo. I really like how it turned out. I always prime my paper with clear gesso before using any mediums. It prevents the paper from soaking up the mediums too fast.
All the flowers for this layout came from the kit, as well as the chipboard. I left the chipboard in the white form. I cut the border in half and used it below my photo (both under and over the cardboard). Most of the flowers are popped up with foam tape to give them more dimension.
I fussy cut some leaves and used them on the page in my floral cluster as leaves. I added foam tape to them as well for dimension. I also added some of the rhinestones and mini art stone randomly to the page.
As always, Tres Jolie always hosts a monthly sketch or mood board challenge. For the new year we changed up our challenges. We will continue to provide a “mood board” or sketch, it’s just that the rules changed. We want to include our laser-cut chipboard in the challenge. So, with that being said, here are the new rules.

*You MUST include the twist in your design.
*We would love to see you USE AT LEAST 1 OF Tres Jolie's products on your projects but it isn’t required to play along.
