January 2024 Cards, Tags, and More kit

Hello everyone Becky here with my first Tres Jolie design team project.  I have a full process video on both the Tres Jolie and my personal YouTube channel found below:

 I wanted to use this beautiful kit to document a concert my husband and I went to this past fall.  I pulled a 12x12 piece of paper, the music note paper, several 2x3 cards, prima flowers, chipboard pieces, items from the fabulous embellishment pack, the cut apart sheet, and the flower vine laser cut piece.

After looking at all these goodies together I knew I needed to add some matching elements to complete the background.  I went to the kits and pulled out the doily and one of the laser cut tags.  I used Heide Swapp Color Shine in Ocean to do a messy spray of these 2 items.

Attaching the doily to the back of the photo I then located the written word paper and cut into some 1/2 inch"ish" strips to use a Martha Steward boarder punch for added detail.  I fussy cut out a frame and turned it into a shaker pocket using the Spiegel Mom Scraps sequin mix of Gender Reveal.

Next up that laser cut vine piece needed just a bit of coloring.  I took Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Gunmetal Gray and Polar Wind to color up this beautiful piece.

Once everything was dry I attached the photo to a various cluster of 2x3 cards on top of the doiley and part of the tag.  Next I added the strips and several of the tickets behind this cluster.  Layering the laser cut wood vine to the left of the photo and added some of Prima flowers on top.  Added the shaker pocket to the upper right on top of the main part of the tag with a bit of jute twine.  Finishing touches of 1/2 pearls and a little birdie and this layout is 100% complete.

This layout turned out so much better than I could have even imagined due to these wonderful kits.
