Be sure to order your kit today! I will also be using some items from my crafty stash: foam tape, Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and Salty Ocean and Mowed lawn, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Cello Tape, Salvaged Heart, Ranger Collage medium, Catherine Poolen Cranberry Fizz ink, Folkart Cottage White acrylic paint, Ranger Collage medium, Tim Holtz Collage tissue and Finnibair Sparks paint-Butterfly Spells.
To begin, I chose two of the 12x12 patterned papers in the kit for the base of my layouts. I set one aside for now. We'll work on layout at a time.
Layout number 1: I chose the maroon roses and leaves paper and cut out one of the4x6 Journaling cards. . See photo:
Set your paper aside. I am using one of the new Tres Jolie Chipboard sentiment/clouds pieces You can find them here: https://tresjoliekits.com/collections/chipboard/products/titles
I also chose 2 small photos and two Ephemera Frames from the kit. Glue your behind each frame. See photo:
I painted the clouds insert piece with Folkart Cottage White acrylic paint. Let dry. Take the Happy chipboard piece and apply Catherine Poolen Cranberry Fizz ink over top. This adds a nice spakle effect. This ink was in my stash from a previous Tres Jolie Kit. See photos:
A closer look:
Set aside your chipboard piece. I tore another journal card in half, inked along the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs (from my stash. See photo:
Arrange all your journal cards on your layout. I added the two torn journal cards on the right side of my layout and added foam tape to the backside of both small frames before adhering to each torn journal card piece. I applied a piece of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Cello Tape in the top corners of my torn journal cards. See photos:
I chose another larger photo and added foam tape on the backside before adhering on top of my journal card. I glued some of the Little Birdie flowers from this kit. One small pink flower above my large photo on the leftside. I glued another cluster of flowers on the lower left corner. Sorry for the glare on my photo below. I glued my Chipboard cloud sentiment above my large photo. I then carefully applied a small amount of Tim Holtz Distress Ink Salty Ocean using a dabber. See photo:
From my stash I took one Tim Holtz Idea-ology Salvaged Heart and applied some Finnibair Sparks paint-Butterfly Spells paint over the top of my heart. See photo:
Once your paint has dried, I applied a thin coat of Ranger Collage medium over top. And added a torn piece Collage tissue and laid over top of my Salvaged Heart and applied more Collage medium over top. See photos:
Using hot glue I added a vintage button among my flowers and glued my Salvaged Heart among my flower petals! Here's some closeup photos:
Layout #2: Here is the patterned paper I'll be using for my base.
I chose a 4x6 photo to use on this layout. From the cover sheet, I cut out several pieces and a small tag and 4x6 Journaling card. Using an Distress tool from my stash, I roughed up along the edges of each card.
I attached the small scrap piece and the fussycut tag and stapled them together. See photo:
Set these aside for now. Take out one of the Tres Jolie chipboard Leaves and taking some I applied some Tim Holtz Distress Ink Mowed Lawn (my stash) you can use any green ink from your kit. See photo:
Now we can arrange our embellishments on our layout and added photos. I glued my two journal cards on the left side on my layout. I adhered my photo on top. I glued some leaves from one of the flower packs and twisted two of the wires from the small Roses, trimmed my wire. Then glued on top of my leaves. Here's acouple closeups!
Take your Tres Jolie Chipboard Leaves piece and glue on the bottom right corner. I added some more Little Birdie flowers from the kit. I tucked and glued another small rose between my two large Roses. Here's a closeup look:
To finish my layout, I glued the Tag piece on the top right corner and added a Prima Rose gem from my stash at the top of my tag. Here's my finished layout!
I hope you enjoyed my layout project ideas. Thanks for visiting our Tres Jolie blog! Order your kit today and start creating those Scrapbook Memories!
I'll be back next week with another project to share. Until then, Happy Scrapbooking!
