Don't wait, order your kit today! You don't want to miss out.
From my stash, the album I chose is G45 Kraft Tag and Pocket Album-small, foam dots, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Postmarked stamp stickers, small metal Brads and screws, jute cord.enamel dots, Tim Holtz Idea-ology paper dolls, and xaco knife.
Here are the measurements for cutting the papers:
Front and Back Cover- 5 &7/8 x 6 inches, Kraft pages- 5x5, pocket pages-top portion 5 & 3/8 x 3 & 3/8, pocket front- 5 & 3/8 x 2 & 1/4, Tags- 4 & 1/2 x 4 & 1/4, I left the top portion of my Kraft tags natural. Inside Front & Back Covers-6x6 inches. Outside Spine- 2 &1/2 x 6 inches.
To begin our project, I chose my a variety of patterned papers to add to both the front and back covers and all inside pages.Using the ink in the kit, I applied my ink to all edges of my papers, diecuts. I'll explain how to decorate each page including the tags. I saved all border strips, since they are great to use throughout this album.
For the Spine of the album, I made a template from some cardboard in my stash. Trace and measure being sure to cut out the area where the metal bracket shows. I save my template for future projects. See photo:
I chose the "Travel Memories" paper backside with the compass for cutting out my Spine piece. Glue in place. See photo:
I cut one of the border strip sentiments and slid inside the metal bracket. See photo:
With foam dots, I adhered the large Diecut Compass. Here's a look:
I did use the same paper (Scenic Route) to cover both the front and back covers. See back cover photo here:
Front Cover: I took one of the Tres Jolie chipboard Ticket border strips and cut apart one ticket. I applied some of the ink in the kit over the top of my chipboard ticket. Let dry. Then I cut a scrap piece and glued to fit behind my chipboard ticket.i cut off "Let's Go" sentiment from the border strips and glued on the top of my chipboard ticket. I took a small Finnibair Mechanicals Grungy small gears, and glued on the top next to my sentiment on the chipboard ticket! See photos:
I glued my Tres Jolie chipboard Ticket at a slight angle, at the top left corner on the front of my album. I chose another Finnibair Mechanicals Grungy gear and glued at the top right corner. Taking one of the Diecut small frames, I chose a photo and glued in place on the backside of my frame. I glued a small Diecut tab sentiment at the top of my diecut frame. Glue at the bottom edge. I glued a camera diecut on the right edge of my frame. With foam dots, I adhered one of the Diecut stamps. Here's some closeup photos!
