Gingerbread Chipboard Mixed Media house.

Hello everyone. I am back and my first project using the December Mixed Media kit is actually Christmas inspired. For those of who got the October Mixed Media kit, I did not use all of the awesome haunted house chipboard pieces. When I saw it, the idea of a gingerbread house just popped into my head. 

I have never used the Jacquard paints before but I have to say I just love the thick coverage it provides and it is so bright and sparkly in person. 

Once I painted the whole thing with the colors, the small bottles reminded me of the Nuvo drop and decided to see if I could add paint "gumdrops" on the house. It worked!! But be very light handed. 

I then colored one of the solid pieces in the goldish colors in the paint kit and added the glitter dust to the house and the background house. 

Next I used the Joy sentiment from the December kit and colored it in the same colors as the house so that it would fit in. 

And then my piece was done.
