Forever "You" Layout
Hi Craft Friends!
I'm Dana and I'm back to share a layout project using the Tres Jolie March Scrapbook kit! This kit has to be one of my favorites. It features 49 and Market Artistry Tranquility collection! The 12x12 collection pack even includes some wonderful fussy cut elements that are perfect for layouts, albums or journals. There are laser cut elements, Chipboards, 49 and Market and Prima flowers! In addition, I'll be using some additional products from this collection as well as in my stash. I also Inked all my elements and Laser sentiment using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Gathered Twigs (from my stash)
This is one kit you don't want to miss out on.
To begin creating our layout, I chose one of the beautiful 12x12 papers for my background paper. I chose the "Resting Garden" paper.
Open your package of Tranquility Laser Cut Elements. I punched out the lovely window element. I am using this piece as my focal point on my layout. I applied some foam tape carefully onto the back edges of my window element.
In my stash I found this lady image Journaling card, and thought she'd be perfect to adhere behind my window.
I peeled off the paper from my foam tape, then adhered my window element on top of my journal card. Making sure to line up the edges. I adhered the window on the right side of my layout. I added a sentiment phase from the Laser elements package and adhered above the window! Here's a closeup!
Next I chose some of the Laser elements, sentiment phases and fussy cut out a butterfly image from my 12x12 paper pack. And washi tape (from this collection and my stash) and chipboard butterfly.
I like to play around with my placement before gluing anything down onto my layout. I applied a few of the matching washi tape postage stamp images on the upper right side. Here's a closeup!
I punched out one of the Laser Cut Elements floral images and adhered in the upper left side of my layout, using foam dots (from my stash) Here's a closeup!
The words " Forever" and "You" from the Tranquility Chipboard Word set, from my stash. I added them onto my layout using foam dots on the back of my "You" word before adhering.
On the bottom of my layout, I adhered my fussy cut butterfly and chipboard butterfly over the matching images on my 12x12 paper. Some of the Daisy and vine Laser Cut Elements, I applied foam dots on the back before adhering to my layout.
I hope I have inspired you to start scrapbooking your own photos and creating special memories!
Till next week, Happy Scrapbooking!
Dana
